Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Robert Bocheński (bochen.io), based in Szczecin, Poland. For any privacy-related inquiries, contact us at r.bochenski@bochen.io.

What data we collect

We collect minimal data necessary to understand how visitors use the site:

  • Analytics data — via Google Analytics 4, we collect page views, approximate location (country/city level), device type, browser, and referral source. We use Google Consent Mode v2: if you decline analytics cookies, GA4 collects only anonymized, cookieless aggregated data with no personal identifiers.
  • Contact form submissions — when you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Bot protection — we use Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form to prevent spam. Turnstile does not use cookies and does not track users across sites.

Why we collect it

  • Analytics — to understand traffic patterns and improve the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for anonymized data; consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for full analytics cookies.
  • Contact form — to respond to your message. Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Data sharing

Analytics data is processed by Google LLC under their privacy policy. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties.

Data retention

  • Analytics — 14 months (Google Analytics default).
  • Contact submissions — retained until the inquiry is resolved, then deleted within 6 months.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time (clear the cookie_consent cookie or click "Only essential" in the consent banner)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • File a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: UODO)
